Tolls up 50% on Atlantic City Expressway Tuesday am


Toll rates are due to be increased 50% on the Atlantic City Expressway just after midnight Monday Nov 17 to come into effect Tuesday Nov 18 at 00:01, toller South Jersey Transportation Authority says.

South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) operator of the Atlantic City Expressway (ACE) isĀ  moving to increase the use of transponders by pushing the handy packaged kits called "E-ZPass On The Go".

South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) have decided to hold off on detailed engineering design work on modernizing their Egg Harbor mainline toll plaza (Mile Marker 17) in order to study cashless all electronic tolling (AET) for their Atlantic City Expressway.

Atlantic City Expressway to complete IC at NJ50 - UPDATED


The Atlantic City Expressway ACE) is rebuilding Interchange 17 in Hamilton Township to improve the connection to NJ50. At present there are only west facing ramps - reflecting the expressway's early orientation to Philadelphia. With development along the shore there's now serious demand in these parts to go the other way - toward Atlantic City and to the Garden State Parkway.
