2013-05-31: North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is offering for free download an 'app' for smartphones that allows TollTag customers to manage their accounts anywhere. Called Tollmate the app allows a motorist to use an Apple iPhone or Android style mobile phone to access their accounts, view the balance, top up the account, add or subtract vehicles to the account.

TransCore is now providing a mobile app for TransSuite, its major traffic management center system. To date a PC or laptop has been needed for TransSuite.
