OK we were completely, totally, 100% wrong in comments after the first GOP presidential debate. And no we're not providing a link to that. Suffice to say It was a most unfortunate start to our political commentaries.

Perry our favorite then has bombed out, proving himself painfully inarticulate and on policy, politically inept. Ron Paul proved himself a crank by saying we'd brought 9/11 on ourselves. You don't run for any office in American public life spouting such nonsense. Maybe in Sweden or New Zealand, but not here…  not even in San Francisco.
