Oklahoma Turnpike to go interoperable with NTTA by mid 2014, KTA to follow - IOP moves in neighbor negotiations
2013-07-17: The real action in tolling interoperability is occurring between neighbor tollers not in any centrally managed scheme out of IBTTA or ATI. Oklahoma Turnpike and North Texas Tollway authorities are close to agreement on the nuts and bolts of electronic toll interoperability.
Weather forecasts suggest wild weather is likely in Kansas toward the end of the week and the possibility of tornadoes. Kansas Turnpike president /CEO Michael L Johnston says "No way" to the proposal for toll rates to be graduated according to speed: "We're in the service business, not in law enforcement. End of story."
