Pure satellite tolling on way out in Europe - GPS/DSRC/cellular hybrid coming


GPS or satellite-only toll units will soon be history in Europe. The world's largest satellite-based toller TOLL COLLECT in Berlin Germany says that its new hybrid service TOLL2GO launched September 1, 2011 is already in use by some 30,000 vehicles and that demand for the hybrid units is strong.
