Penn Pike firee George Hatalowich named director "Strategic Operations" at Parsons Brinck PA


A colorful former officer of the Pennsylvania Turnpike George Hatalowich has been put on the payroll of Parsons Brinckerhoff in Camp Hill PA with the unusual title Director-Pennyslvania Strategic Operations. At the Turnpike Hatalowich, 46, was best known as a liaison with and fund raiser for politicians, and for drunken driving charges.

He was fired by the Turnpike March 15 this year after being asked to resign, and refusing.

Carl DeFebo official spokesman for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission says that Tuesday March 15 was the official last day for former second-in-charge George Hatalowich. DeFebo says he can't get into specifics on whether Hatalowich resigned or was fired since that is a personnel matter.

George Hatalowich, Penn Pike's former #2, liaison with E-ZPass being fired


George Hatalowich former number two and E-ZPass expert at the Pennsylvania Turnpike was asked by Governor Tom Corbett's office to resign last Thursday, we're told by a source close to the Turnpike. Hatalowich's response was 'No, I'm not resigning.' As a result he is being "terminated" this week, we understand.

Chief operating officer at the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission George Hatalowich has been writing emails under the name Friend of George, protesting news coverage of himself, and saying what a great guy his buddy George is. Penn Pike COO standing trial over 0.137% alcohol in July


George Hatalowich chief operating officer and #2 at the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will stand trial July in County Court near Harrisburg for driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.137 and other charges. He crashed his car into the fence of the Hershey entertainment park 9:30pm April 5. He drove far enough away to cop an additional charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

Penn Pike COO Hatalowich cops three drunk driving charges


George M Hatalowich, the Pennsylvania Turnpike's number two and chief operating officer (COO) is due in magistrate's court in Hummesltown PA May 26 on three drunk driving charges. A court officer there confirmed to us that a police complaint against him had been received, saying Hatalowich had been charged with two counts of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and one count of careless driving April 5.
