Penn Pike firee George Hatalowich named director "Strategic Operations" at Parsons Brinck PA

A colorful former officer of the Pennsylvania Turnpike George Hatalowich has been put on the payroll of Parsons Brinckerhoff in Camp Hill PA with the unusual title Director-Pennyslvania Strategic Operations. At the Turnpike Hatalowich, 46, was best known as a liaison with and fund raiser for politicians, and for drunken driving charges.
He was fired by the Turnpike March 15 this year after being asked to resign, and refusing.

It isn't just Penn Pike bigshots who have trouble with the booze. Massachusetts Turnpike's colorful former chairman and CEO Matt Amorello was booked by police for drunk driving, and leaving the scene of a crash, in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was held in the local lockup overnight.
The incident occurred on River Road, a major surface arterial in Haverhill, a northern suburb of Boston.

He crashed his car into the fence of the Hershey entertainment park 9:30pm April 5. He drove far enough away to cop an additional charge of leaving the
scene of an accident.
New Jersey Turnpike worker likely to face dismissal over drunk driving crash

A New Jersey Turnpike toll technician working out of the Milltown NJ maintenance shop is likely to face dismissal for an April 27 incident in which he sideswiped some parked cars and then collided with another motorist. He was driving a Turnpike vehicle. After the collision he was tested for alcohol and charged by police with drunk driving and other offenses.
Penn Pike COO Hatalowich cops three drunk driving charges

George M Hatalowich, the Pennsylvania Turnpike's number two and chief operating officer (COO) is due in magistrate's court in Hummesltown PA May 26 on three drunk driving charges. A court officer there confirmed to us that a police complaint against him had been received, saying Hatalowich had been charged with two counts of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and one count of careless driving April 5.
