Delaware River white water toller to hike rates 30% average


Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission are raising the tolls on their PA-NJ bridges from Trenton north by around 30% July 1. Car tolls are to rise 33%, 2-axle truck tolls 30%, and 5-axle and larger trucks buy 23%. These are the first toll increases since 2007 when truck tolls were last increased. It is the first across-the-board toll increase since 2001.

No more free rides for employees at DRJTBC bridges


Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) voted today to end their longstanding employee benefit of free rides with E-ZPass over their seven toll bridges. Commission chairman David DeGerolamo in a statement said the end to free rides for workers was requested initially by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and then that request was endorsed by Pennsylvania Tom Corbett.

Delaware River toller has website for open road tolling on I-80 bridge


Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) recently launched a website to support the introduction of open road tolling on their I-80 Delaware River Water Gap Bridge.

ETC wins CSC/VP contract at DRJTBC beating ACS, TransCore, Faneuil


Electronic Transaction Consultants (ETC) has been selected by Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission to design and operate a new electronic toll customer service and violations processing center (CS/VPC). Violations processing is new to DRJTBC because so far they have gates in all their toll lanes. That however is changing with a move to open road tolling at the I-78 and I-80 toll bridges NJ-PA and the removal of gates at many single toll lanes.
