New York State Thruway has produced eight peregrine falcon chicks

"Just one chick!" Tom Moore an environmental officer emailed his boss at the New York State Thruway after reading our report of the excitement at Delaware River Joint Toll (DRJTBC) about breeding a single Peregrine Falcon on the Scudder Falls I-95 bridge.

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) say they've had a peregrine falcon produce a chick in a nest in the underneath steelwork of their I-95 Scudder Falls Bridge. Once a seriously endangered species peregrine falcons are still rare with only 24 known nesting pairs in Pennsylvania.
