TCA has new CEO - Neil Peterson PERSONNEL
The Transportation Corridors Agencies (TCA) which run the San Joaquin Hills and Foothill and Eastern tollroads in Orange County California have chosen Neil Peterson as their new chief executive officer. He comes from CH2MHill where he was a a transportation strategy consultant, and before that Booz Allen & Hamilton. He was founding CEO of the car sharing firm Flexcar, renamed Zipcar now part of Avis.

New toll systems manager being sought at TCA - Jim Rhodes leaves PERSONNEL
A new in-lane toll systems manager is being sought at the Transportation Corridors Agencies in Orange County CA. Jim Rhodes who had the position of deputy director of technology left recently. By one account he was fired by acting CEO Lisa Telles.
The thrust of reports we have is it was felt he was too close to TransCore which has maintained and operated toll systems equipment, both electronic tolling and coin machines for many years.

Tom Margro chief executive of the Transportation Corridors Agencies (TCA) is retiring at the end of the month. He's 68 and has "health issues," TCA says. 
Margro joined TCA in 2007 after some years as chief executive of the Bay Area Rapid Transit rail network.

2012-05-11: You can now make use of a mobile phone app to manage a Transportation Corridors Agencies (TCA) toll account from an iPhone or an Android. The 'app' downloadable from The Toll Roads (TCA) website also works on tablets like the iPad. A press release says it is the first of its kind in the US and allows customers to do everything wirelessly - on their mobile phone - that they can do via logging in to their account at the website.

The Toll Roads of Orange County California are sponsoring a monthly lottery in which the winner will get $1,000 in toll credits they can use for travel with a FasTrak electronic toll transponder. Odds of winning the 'grand' prize will be improved according to the amount of travel in the month on the four county tollroads.
Tollers to repay $1.4m, waive $41m+ in S Cal to settle toll violation debt cases

Southern California tollers have agreed to repay about $1.4m and to waive $41m or
an estimated 29% of accumulated toll violation penalties owing for violations since early 2003. They have also agreed to make major revisions to their handling of future violations.
