Want to see how your federal taxes get misspent? Just go to the Federal Highway Administration's effort to collect data on toll facilities. A toll facility is a road, bridge or tunnel where a toll is collected for passage, right?

Under the heading "Toll Facilities in the United States" the FHWA have a hodgepodge listing not of toll facilities as the heading promises but of organizations connected with toll facilities.

The people at Reason Foundation seem to have gone out of their minds. They're campaigning for Ron Paul for president! Their latest 'Reason Alert'  (March 9) is straight Paul campaign propaganda: "The Ron Paul Moment." (see nearby)

MEMO WSJ Editorial: Your page A8 piece on spiraling fuel costs of truckers this morning is a neat enough little survey but what kind of idiot there decided to illustrate it ("Burning up: The price of gasoline in May in selected countries" in your US print edition) with a chart of gasoline prices?
