A New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA) spokesman says that after an investigation of a sexual harassment complaint Donald R Bell, director of maintenance and operations was told to resign or face termination proceedings. He chose to resign.

2012-06-20: Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell has fired a labor racketeer from the board of directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) whose major source of revenue is the Dulles Toll Road - Dennis Martire, 48, the local Mid Atlantic region manager, vice president and member of the general executive board of LiUNA, the Laborers international Union of North America.

Orlando Orange County Expressway Authority's executive director, Mike Snyder brought forward his departure date to December 29 under pressure from area mayor Teresa Jacobs. Meeting today the 5-person board of directors accepted his resignation. He'll get three months severance pay of just under $82k plus an annual pension of $70k. He turns 65 on March 7 next year and initially proposed to stay until then.

George Hatalowich former number two and E-ZPass expert at the Pennsylvania Turnpike was asked by Governor Tom Corbett's office to resign last Thursday, we're told by a source close to the Turnpike. Hatalowich's response was 'No, I'm not resigning.' As a result he is being "terminated" this week, we understand.

- Ann Journeay, chief financial officer

- Robert Cole, head toll operations

- George Reed, director human resources

- Paul Anderson, head of employee relations
