Indiana Toll Road getting three more toll conventional lanes at Portage plaza

The Indiana Toll Road looks like getting an extra three conventional toll lanes at the Portage Toll Plaza. ITR Concession Company (ITRCC) is applying for permission to add the lanes in order to improve throughput. Portage is near MP23. That's 23 miles (37km) east of the Illinois Line and at the transition from the barrier system in the west to the eastern ticket system.

Virginia has reached agreement with Transurban DRIVe and Fluor on most of the details of a 75-year toll concession to build 22.5km (14 miles) of 2+2 HOT lanes on the Capital Beltway between the Springfield Interchange at I-95 through the Tysons Corner/Dulles Toll Road area. The project has grown in scope and cost to $1.4b for the design-build portion and $1.7b including financing and planning.

Lee County decides to toll 32km of extra I-75 lanes in SW Florida - $1.29b project UPDATED

Lee County commissioners voted 4 to 1 this week to implement tolling on 32km (20 miles) of I-75 where third lanes are soon to begin construction by Florida DOT. This means the project may go ahead without Collier County to the south. Florida DOT's contractor is beginning third laning 56km
