American Roads nears completion of $8.84m Detroit-Windsor Tunnel modernization

American Roads LLC operators of the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel say they're nearing completion of upgrades to their US plazawhere there has been construction for the past 26 months. They've added an eleventh entry inspection lane to the previous ten used by the US Customs and Border Protection service. Border clearance is usually the bottleneck at international crossings.
Upgrade and rehab of NJ/PA I-80 Water Gap toll bridge celebrated

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) Wednesday is celebrating two years of modernization of its busy I-80 toll bridge at the Delaware River Water Gap. The work completed includes an open road toll lane at the westbound-only toll plaza, removal of gates from cash lanes, and an extensive rehab of the steel i-beam girder bridges including new main bearings and deck joints - items that accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.
