MDX to have another go at hiring new system integrator for all-electronic tolling on the big 836 and 112 tollroads
2013-10-01: Officials of the Miami Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) say they plan to cancel the all-electronic toll conversion procurement they launched in the summer and start again with a revised Request for Proposals (RFP.) First time up, only one system supplier, TransCore, had submitted on the date due, September 10.
Illinois Tollway finding Accenture's SAP modules require mods to allow migration from ETCC back office, meanwhile going out for consultants on enterprise software
2013-08-27: There's some rumbling in the ranks at the Illinois Tollway over the transition from the ETCC back office to the Accenture back office software based on modules from SAP, the Germany-based international leader in comprehensive "enterprise" software.
Based on requests from a number of potential proposers, ODOT is extending the deadline until Tuesday, April 17th midday PST for RFP #24965.
An announcement says: "Although there are some tight deadlines and other factors that prohibit a lengthy extension, ODOT's hope is that another few days will help in preparation for Proposals for RFP #24965; Road Usage Charge Pilot Program."

The Alliance for Toll Interoperability have formally filed their important Hub Request for Proposals. It has a May 2 deadline and the schedule provides for final selection by June 20, and Notice to Proceed by July 8, of an operator (or up to three operators) for three to six months of pilot operations.

Twenty four companies sent their people along to the New Jersey Turnpike's tour of Interchange 11 Monday - part of the process of soliciting proposals for contracted cash toll collection services.
