Wilbur Smith Associates, the 1,000 person employee-owned company brand that
has been a world leader in traffic and revenue studies and toll consulting for six decades is being retired as a brand to reflect its integration with Cambridge MA-based CDM to become part of the brand CDM Smith. A merger of brands is announced today.

Electronic Transaction Consultants Corp (ETC) the Dallas TX based toll systems and services provider is being considered for purchase by Xerox/ACS and by Kapsch, according to several toll industry sources. None of those involved want to be quoted.

ACS brand could disappear "quite quickly" with merger into Xerox

Senior ACS officials tell us that the ACS brand could be phased out quite quickly in favor of Xerox, their new parent company. For now it is "ACS, a Xerox company" (see new logo below) but soon all ACS products and services will be sold under the Xerox brand.
