They "cut the ribbon" officially this morning on the latest segment of the Mon Fayette Expressway (MFE) south of Pittsburgh PA. Called Phase 1 of the Uniontown to Brownsville segment it is 8.2 miles (13.2km) stretching between Uniontown and Redstone Township. Phase 1 is 2+2 expressway lanes, parallel with and just north of US40, along the route of the National Road, later the National Pike and in the early 20th century the Lincoln Highway. 886 words  read more »

NTTA gets another 15km (9 miles) of tollroad this Sunday Aug 31. The new pike to be called the "121 Tollway" will be opened on SR121 between Old Denton Rd and Hillcrest Rd. Called Segment 2 it straddles Denton and Collin counties.

Segment 1m open for over a year, is 11km (7 miles) long.

Miami Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) is preparing to open an extension to its State Highway 836 (FL836) or Dolphin Expressway, and major improvements to toll collection nearby.
