USA Today had an article (2008-01-28) saying tolls are getting "dramatically more expensive." There are certainly some large increases in US tolls, but in line with industry practice many tolls have been frozen for quite a number of years so it is unclear what it means on an annual basis.
Feds release toll facilities database - rather empty still

The feds are doing a toll facilities database - more precisely the office of operations at FHWA. The database is a work in progress, the most polite phrase we can contrive to say it misses many of the most important toll facilities in America. But to emphasize the positive it does have 40 facilities listed, though one we spot is no longer a tolllroad - the Daniel Boone Parkway in Kentucky.
