InfraAmericas to Focus on Toll Roads, Public Official Community at P3 Conference (ADVERTISEMENT)

InfraAmericas is organizing its Sixth Annual US P3 Infrastructure Forum in New York City on June 22 & 23.

The forum is the P3 industry’s premier gathering of infrastructure developers, investors, financiers, state and federal public officials, and regional transportation authorities spread over two days.

Public Officials

InfraAmericas has put together an impressive list of public officials from the transportation community including representatives from the states of Arizona, California, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, Puerto Rico, Texas and Virginia.

They will join industry experts and senior executives from the private sector, representing firms including ACS, Cintra US, John Hancock Financial Services, LAZ Parking, Lochner, Macquarie Capital, Meridiam, Transurban and Ullico.

Toll Roads

The organizers have arranged a session on toll roads, scheduled for the afternoon of June 22, featuring ACS’ Juan Santamaria, Macquarie Capital’s Christopher Voyce, Transurban’s Michael Kulper as well as Tom Pelnik representing the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Innovative Project Delivery Division.

Among other things, it will consider whether the public sector is doing enough to make P3s attractive enough for private investors as well as assessing current private sector appetite – and execution capacity – for these transactions.

On the public side, InfraAmericas has asked public officials to present their P3 programs to Wall Street and discuss how these opportunities can best be turned into successful deals.

Their confirmed speaker list to date includes:

- Dale E. Bonner, Secretary, Business Transportation & Housing Agency, California

- Beverley K. Swaim-Staley, Secretary, Maryland DOT
