Alan Allegretto joins Xerox ACS (PERSONNEL)

A Xerox ACS official tells us veteran toller Alan Allegretto is joining them to be a Leader Toll Collection Operations working directly to Ken Philmus. His formal title will be Vice President Transportation Solutions
& Services.  The past five years he has had his own consulting business under the name GovScience Consulting. Previously in over 30 years in the toll industry he had senior positions at HNTB, Parsons Transportation in New York City, and TransCore where he was Senior Vice President and chief operating officer.

In January 2008 Allegretto was announced as head of US operations for Kapsch, the largest European toll systems supplier.

55 years old Allegretto lives in Wayne NJ 30km or 19 miles west of midtown Manhattan. He has a graduate degree in engineering from Newark College and post graduate in engineering management from the Air Force Institute of Technoogy in Dayton Ohio.

He is a retired US Air Force officer.

ACS is biggest in North America in back office toll operations having major contracts with E-ZPass tollers, but also does plenty of front end work and system integration as well. The company had big wins in North Carolina last year.
