HTA expands, has new VP Ops (PERSONNEL)

The people at Highway Toll Administration LLC (HTA) of Great Neck on Long Island NY have been growing in number. They've had to move to larger offices to handle the extra electronic toll business with rental car customers.

And they are making staff changes, including a new VP Operations - Amit Shoresh.

Shoresh is a settler to the US from Israel, who joined HTA four years ago. He worked first in transponder rentals, then manager violations processing, most recently superviser customer service.

Now at age 28 he's in charge of all these operations. Shoresh also has responsibility for liaison with rental car companies and toll authorities.

HTA now handle the tolling accounts of 1.3m vehicles - nearly all rental cars - using both transponders in vehicles and video tolling. (CORRECTION last sentence)
