Illinois Tollway new chair

In Chicago Gov Quinn has replaced his predecessor's chairman John Mitola with Paula Wolff.

64 years old, a DC native Wolff is an academic administrator, law specialist, planner and member of many boards - so many one wonders if she has any 'off-board' time at all.

She told the press she would focus on “keeping everything absolutely clean as a whistle” ethically at the Tollway.

Mitola who shared the boyish looks of his patron the disgraced Governor Blagojevich never showed a sign as chairman that he was more than a 'yessir, yessir' Blago aide.

Also appointed to fill vacancies in the Illinois Tollway board were mayor of Aurora, Tom Weisner and a former state senator and mayor of Waukegan, Bill Morris.
