Mass Pike people popping up elsewhere

With the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority nearing its end some of its senior officers are finding new employment. And it's looking high profile stuff.

Former chief executive office of the MTA Jennifer Flagg has a job at the Cambridge Police Department in charge of a followup inquiry into the Henry Gates-James Crowley fracas that had the arrested Harvard professor and his police sergeant arrester having a beer at the White House.

Turnpike commissioner Mary Connaughton seems likely to be running for State Auditor.

The Turnpike which ceases to exist Oct 31 has been a training ground for handling controversy.
