New York MTAB&T tolls go up 10% July 12


Tolls on the bridges and tunnels in New York City operated by the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority go up 10% July 12

Verrazano bridge tolls levied one-way only will be for cars $9.14 with an E-ZPass transponder, $5.48 for Staten Island residents with E-ZPass and for them with a Resident token $7.35, and $11 cash.

At the other major crossings, tolled both directions - Triborough/RFK, Bronx-Whitestone, Throgs Neck bridges, Brooklyn Battery and Midtown tunnels - the new toll will be $4.57 E-ZPass transponder, $5.50 cash.

Henry Hudson bridge and minor crossings to the Rockways tolls also go up 10% to $2.09 and to $1.71 E-ZPass, more cash, less resident privileges.

A standard 5-axle tractor trailer will now pay $45 with E-ZPass on the one-way toll Verrazano, $60 cash and on the other major crossings tolled both ways $22.50 and $30.
