Blago wanted NBC insects in his pants but US judge said No
"Blagojevich's lawyers.. asked permission for their client to travel to Costa Rica in June to be a contestant on NBC's 'I'm a
Celebrity ... Get me Out of Here' (show)," Chicago Tribune reports today.
"(NBC) said (Blagojevich) could have made up to $123,250 on the 12-episode show if not voted off by viewers."
Why, we wondered, would viewers in such circumstances ever contemplate voting Blago off?
What could be on the minds of an anti-Blago voter?
It'd be $123k for Blago for sure.
The Tribune report continues:
"In an (earlier) version of the (NBC) show, contestants, among other things, had to put insects, worms and rats in their pants, sit in a tank of leeches and wade through a swamp populated by snakes and eels."

Judge says No to NBC's cruel & unusual punishment
US District Court Judge James Zagel said it was a "bad idea" for the ex-governor to be allowed to travel to Costa Rica for the NBC show because he needed to stick around and understand the jeopardy he is in from the US Government if he doesn't make an effective case against Uncle Sam's corruption charges.
Worse than than NBC's insects, worms and rats in the pants etc?
We wonder what the US Government has in mind for the guy whose name used to be emblazoned above motorists on the Illinois Tollway.
We don't own own a television, but news of such an NBC show makes us think we're really missing something.
