Mark Florian departs Goldman Sachs, E Suarez from Turnpike to Faneuil PERSONNEL

Mark B Florian who led the toll concession and public private partnership effort at Goldman Sachs has left the big New York investment bank to set up his own private fund. Florian is among the most prominent figures in the P3 business and with GS went all over the country  talking the subject, and finding out about prospects.

He was made a managing director at GS in Nov 2003 and a partner in Oct 2006.

Fanueil has announced that Evelio Suarez, former director of toll operations at Florida Turnpike Enterprise will be their VP Business Development US-wide. Suarez is well known in the industry having been at FTE since 1990 and representing it at IBTTA and other industry events. He was in charge of developing the Florida wide SunPass electronic toll program.

Faneuil provides toll collections services on a contract basis. FTE is its largest client.
