Slate's counsellor Prudence got a letter from a man who'd discovered a condom wrapper in his wife's purse, and suspected infidelity.
Confronted by her husband, the wife said: "It must have blown in the window at a toll plaza. Or maybe
someone put it there as a practical joke."
Prudence the counsellor tells the suspicious husband in respect of the wrapper blowing in the window at the toll plaza: "That's the best one I ever heard..."
She suggests that if hubby wants to keep the marriage together he
forgive and forget, adding:
"You could also suggest that for future travel she buy an E-ZPass."
