Washington Group trouble

As we go to press America’s fourth largest builder the Washington Group is in deep financial trouble. The company’s president Dennis Washington says the whole enterprise is threatened by the unexpectedly large losses and cash demands of the new acquisition Raytheon Constructors (RC). Formerly Morrison Knudsen the new name was adopted with the acquisition of RC, a spinoff of the radar and electronics giant based in Boston MA.
