Redneck limo

We saw it coming off I-70 here in Frederick MD, which those snobs down in Bethesda call Fredneck. It was the perfect redneck conveyance. Glam "wheels" for the dramatic splashy arrival. It was a stretch limo made out of a Lincoln Towncar at the front, with a very lorrrrrrrrr-ong passenger compartment, enough space for a score of partying persons in airconditioned comfort. But bringing up the rear instead of a conventional trunk there was 2m (6 foot) of pickup truck cargo box from an F-150 truck. Bumper to bumper the whole contraption was all gleaming white, and seamlessly worked into the one smooth vehicle about 12m (40ft) long total. All Ford, though the Lincoln Division toffs must be squirming. And only 2-axles to toll, guys. TRnews 2003-05-17
