Brits win one from WSA

Toronto’s 407-ETR has hired the British firm Halcrow as its traffic and revenue advisers, effectively showing the door to Wilbur Smith Assoc. A senior 407-ETR International official had derisive words for the quality of WSA forecasts recently. WSA has also been treated harshly in the press in southern Calif for a 15 to 20% over-estimate on the SJ Hills with one report lambasting the local TCA for using WSA again. Still, they’re the biggest worldwide. Has anyone done better? It’s not clear to us, but if anyone has data we’d like to publish it.
