You didn’t read this stuff in your newspaper or notice it on TV news? Captives of an idea that is “politically correct” they prefer to publicize the departures from the flattish global trend whenever they are in an upward direction. So you find a place that has a hot spell and make that a proxy picture for the world. The atypical misleads.
