Maine Turnpike widening

The Maine Turnpike’s third laning project continues, but with the summer travel season they are suspending weekend construction work to ensure at least 2-lanes per direction Friday evenings, and all-day Saturdays and Sundays. Total trips peak at around 180k to 200k/day July weekends. The Sunday peak period southbound goes from 10am to 7pm. 2003-03-10
