Many $-guys Step Down

None of this is exactly hot Y2K news but last year there was a major departure of the financial policy old guard from the state DOTs which we should register. In Virginia James Atwell left VDOT’s Broad Street office in Richmond, Suzanne Sale went from Arizona DOT’s top financial position to work with FHWA’s office of budget and finance, and Larry Duke has gone from Columbia SC. All impressive people who made a major impact on tolls and pricing.
