A press release from USDOT (11/16) “U.S. Transportation Secretary Slater Announces Final Rule on Steam Locomotives” reads:
“In a continuing effort to improve safety even as railroad operations expand, US Transp Secretary Rodney E. Slater today
announced a final rule revising inspection and maintenance standards for steam locomotives.”
The darned things must still be blowing up!
Won’t someone tell them about a new engine invented a while back by that smart German Rudolph Diesel... meanwhile they need safety valves
