The John Kilpatrick is presently the Oklahoma Turnpikes boomer. In its latest quarterly report it says revenues are up 10.4% over the same quarter last year. The Kilpatrick is a northern peripheral road to Oklahoma City and an extension of the Turner Turnpike which comes in from the northeast.
The Turnpikes PIKEPASS electronic toll tags on issue rose to nearly 422k mid-year, an increase of 12.5% over mid-98. The Turnpike attributes much of the continued growth of ET usage to the easier accessibility of e-tags, under its remote locations program - the term for licensing small stores to issue tags. These agents are selling tags at a rate of about 36k/year.
