In tune with the countrys new market approach the company has proposed a $4 peak hours toll for cars going down to $1.25 off-peak. But the proposal is that cars will subsidize trucks which will go free in order to support trade. The main docks are nearby. The southern end of the tunnel is in an area named, with truly Irish logic, the North Port.
