This provoked the wrath of the National Park Service, the Wildlife service, and other federal agencies who set out to catch the nocturnal loggers.
But all around the nation, the people were rooting for the beavers. The WASHINGTON POST reported a guy in Maine who said Americans were totally behind any creature which saw merit in damming the Potomac and flooding Washington DC.
The trio were all eventually taken captive and relocated to a river unknown.
