CORRECTIONS Substitute 1996 for 1966, 1995 for 1955...

How could I have done it?

The New York State Thruway safety story appeared (TR#13, p5) with 1966 when 1996 was meant, and worse, 1955 when it should have read 1995. We’d like to blame the computer, resisting the onset of the year 2000 with freak reversions perhaps... but readers now know what 3 teenage Samuel sons have known for a long time, that what with his tastes in music (Simon & Garfunkel, Bach, jazz), hair (beard), preferred mode (walking) etc Dad is still living in the 1950s and 60s...Others may be building bridges to the 21st Century but those of real refinement are looking to restore that bridge to the 18thC. 4am-6am volunteer proof reader needed.

Caltrans’s website is www.dot.ca.gov (not www.ca.dot.gov as we had it)
