TR News July/Anticipates Olumpic Games in Atlanta

The Transportation Research Board’s “TR News” July-August edition (out in September) told readers: “With Atlanta heading into the 1966 Olympics, systems such as these (transit fleet management ITS) could mean all the difference between gridlock and a functioning...” Now we are no sports nuts but we noticed some Olympics down in Atlanta mid-summer and pretty gridlocked transit at that (and smooth flowing highways). The real question for “TR News” is what President Bush would do for transit in his second term as compared to this challenger from Arkansas.
